When you buy the eBook:
Your full payment card number is handled directly by our checkout and payment processor. It does not pass through our hands and we never store it.
When you email us or use the contact page: your name, your email address, and whatever you choose to write to us.
When you simply visit the site: standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the pages you viewed. This is the ordinary log data any website receives.
We do not ask for and do not want sensitive personal information. Please do not send it to us.
Buying the eBook adds you to our customer list so we can deliver the product and support it. If you opted in to marketing email, you may also hear from us about training, resources, and offers relevant to speakers and the people who support them.
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and you are out, no hoops, no "are you sure," no guilt trip. We may still send transactional messages about a purchase you made, such as a receipt or a replacement download link.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to data brokers.

Purchase records are kept as long as we need them for tax, accounting, and legal purposes. Email list data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Website log data is kept for a limited period and then discarded.
The site runs over an encrypted connection, and payment is handled by processors that maintain their own security standards. We limit who on our side can see customer information, and it is not many people.
That said, no method of transmitting or storing data online is perfectly secure, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. We take reasonable measures and we do not promise the impossible.
